The precise locations mentioned in the Odyssey have sparked debate for centuries, with different ideas about where Odysseus’ travels actually took place. This illustrated map depicts Odysseus’ adventurous journey, showing several possible spots along the way. It also traces Telemachus’ path, as introduced in Homer’s epic. Places appear in the order they’re mentioned in the story, with the key ones highlighted when there are too many to list. Created by Martin Thelander, a skilled map illustrator with a Master of Fine Arts degree from Stockholm’s Royal Institute of Art, this map is printed on FSC-certified recycled paper, measuring 11.7 x 16.5 inches when unfolded and easily folded for convenience.
