This enamel pin by Literary Emporium is inspired by the gothic novel The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson.
It features the quote "You must suffer me to go my own dark way," and is in the shape of a potion bottle.
The potion bottle is represents the experimental serum Dr Jekyll creates to hide his dark impulses, but which instead transforms Jekyll into Mr Hyde, the physical embodiment of his evil personality.
This pin is made from hard durable enamel and finished with silver-toned metal. Two butterfly clutch pin fastenings secure it. The pin measures approximately 4cm.
