The fault in our stars – Framed Book Page Art
or 4 payments of $9.25 with Afterpay
A beautiful quote from William Shakespeare printed onto a random page taken from his Complete Works.
“The fault, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.”
Yes, before John Green, there was Shakespeare!
The full quote, taken from Julius Caesar, is, “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.” It’s spoken by Cassius and it is referring to the stars as controllers of destiny. It stresses that one’s character controls actions rather than some preordained fate.
A gorgeous and meaningful print for anyone you know with strength of character.
The text is printed using Bookishly’s hand-drawn font onto a original page taken at random from The Complete Works Of Shakespeare. The lovely old book pages are framed in an ethically sourced wooden frame.
There’s no glass so you can feel the lovely old page. The frames stand up by themselves or hang flush to the wall. They look great stood on a bookshelf. The old books come from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.
The pages used are slightly smaller than A5 and measure approximately 15.5 x 21.5cm (approx 6 x 8.5 inches). There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
