About the Author

Francesca Beauman graduated from Cambridge University with a first class degree in History. Her first book was a history of the pineapple entitled THE PINEAPPLE: KING OF FRUITS published by Chatto & Windus. She also writes, presents and produces for television. She is 30 and divides her time between London and Los Angeles.
