This beautiful literary cuff features the famous court scene from Shakespeare's play The Merchant of Venice.
In Act IV Scene 1, Portia, disguised as the lawyer Balthazar, argues that Shylock must show mercy to Antonio: "The quality of mercy is not strain'd, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven."
The cuff is handmade from brass and has been finished in a beautiful dark teal blue.
The cuff is 1.5 inches wide (38 mm) and is designed to fit a wrist size from 140 mm to 191 mm. The cuff can be adjusted to fit your wrist by applying gentle pressure to it.
The cuff is splash proof, not waterproof and is not designed to be worn continuously. Made of brass, the patina of the brass will change over time to a unique shade all its own.
