Beautiful handmade brass cuff in burnt red featuring sections of a chapter from Charlotte Bronte’s novel Jane Eyre. The image on the cuff (the text) is taken from a 19th-century copy of the novel.
The text on the cuff includes these famous lines in which Jane asserts her independence from Mr Rochester: I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will; which I now exert to leave you.
The cuff is 1.5 inches wide (38 mm) and is designed to fit a wrist size from 140 mm to 191 mm. The cuff can be adjusted to fit your wrist by applying gentle pressure to it.
The cuff is splash proof, not waterproof and is not designed to be worn continuously. Made of brass, the patina of the brass will change over time to a unique shade all its own.
